Our Mission

Our Mission at LGBT United Way is to create and educate. We want to share with others that to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and/or Transgender is not an unnatural part of humanity. We want to create an environment in our world's society that is friendly to all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, political views, and other factors that are considered discriminatory.

We also hope to partner with the ERGs that are in our local companies on things like days of caring...

Please continue to share your experiences and we will do the same. It is going to be a long road since the glbt community already has many groups and opportunities to give. Checkout the fron of our site, it was fun to post a big pride flag on the front fo the website last week!
